    That's some seriously ****ed up ****, the video of him confessing is extremely disturbing and the cover up is blatant. I lost a little faith in humanity reading and watching all that.

    Well, all i can say is that they do right, its about time things like this are brought to the attention of the world and those responsible brought to justice.

    **** me, even the person on that rollredroll website seem to think that their is more of a crime in hacking a website (where everything im sure is open for public viewing anyway) that their is an an actual gang rape. What the f_uck is wrong with this world?

    That poor girl, thank goodness she can't remember a thing that happened. 

    Anon needs to do more of this kind of stuff to offset some of the negative of their other work. I read an article predicting a lack of interest in Anon resulting in them having less influence this year, don't think so some how.

    You get a lot of good and bad from anonymous, laregly because it's pretty much anyone who wants to call themselves that. Stuff like this is what they should be doing more often.

    I see you'd found a few other examples....(it is sad but the person speaking in that clip on radio against the westboro baptist church is awaiting trial: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Topiary_%28hacktivist%29. HBGary is well worth a look into too.

    But there are plenty more, including taking down government site during the arab spring, things like opsyria optunisia, etc.

    Op's are thing people put forward in IRC channels. If enough people want to then a channel dedicated to that op idea is made.... and then its up to the anons to get behind it and make it happen.

    You'd have to say their most famous early operation, the one that put them on the map was operation clambake. Which has effectively decimated the revenue of the church of scientology by widely publishing information about it and its crimes which has damaged their ability to find unknowning victims.

    It is also the first proper declaration of war vid that they did. And although dated, I still think it makes for good viewing and gives you an understand of the power of the internet and free speech when you see how big and effective this op, this idea, became!
