    huddleston would be decent cover rather than play bloody neville in the centre

    I'm happy with Gibson and Osman as a partnership.

    However, we don't have cover - Huddlestone is an ideal back up for Gibbo with Vidis being more creative and box to box midfielder cover for Ossie.

    Thoughts?

    im happy with ossie and gibbo too.  gibson is an injury rpone player though so i wouldn't mind huddleston although i don't rate huddleston too much to be honest.  when you see highlights of him he looks great with all of his passing and shooting but everytime ive watched him over 90 minutes he looks dodgy.  im a very good judge of player.  after 10 minutes of seeing gibson in an everton shirt i knew he was top class and he has proved that.  but having say that i'd take huddlestone on loan - he's better than hitzleberger

    vidis would be an incredible signing.  he looks top class.  too good to be cover though, he'd have to start

    Not sure about either to be honest. Huddlestone has good passing and shooting but to be in our midfield you also have to track back a lot and win the ball, he doesn't look like the type of player who'd do that to me. Can't say anything at all about Vadis though because I've never seen him, but being belgian seems to be a good indication of a good player these days.

    Huddlestone certainly won't come, and the other deal looks unlikely as well. I believe we will sign one or two players this month though.

    Wouldn't touch Huddlestone, nowhere near the level we need. I would prefer Neville in the middle to him as he has much more industry and influence in games.


    Going on the reports Vidis seems like a good move but until we see him play the jury is out, fresh faces in the squad are needed though so bring him in
