Geuye and Vellios would be the ones i would be looking to ship out for a couple of million each.

And before anybody jumps in saying Vellios will do good, he is no better than Straqularsi and he never will be......

And if i were really going to take a gamble, i would be tempted to off load JH if we could get 5 million......however, that would leave only Distin and Jags as experienced CB's, even if we brought in that Forren lad he would need time to bed in, if either of the other 2 got injured we would be in the crap......so i cant see him going, not til the summer at least anyway.....and JH, is probably on more money than what he is worth to the team so there is another good reason to look to ship him out.......

To the whole Vellios will never be better than Stracq, it's hard to tell as we've never truly seen Vellios play a good run of games. And to be perfectly honest I enjoyed watchin Strac play, his effort in game was somethin to be admired and capped it off with a well deserved goal against Chelsea

And to be frank I'd rather have a 3 man defense than play Heitinga, but seriously we also have Duffy who didn't do to bad when he had a few games last season. No point having a prosperous player and not play him at all. imagine if we hadn't played Rooney all that time ago

Johnny H was our player of the year last season, he was immense..  I think we have been too quick to judge him this season, Jags if we remember has gone through periods of bad form, so has distin...  Johnny is more of a footballer than jags and distin so thats where he has been caught out a lot this season.. We need to keep all three of them until the summer, then let Johnny go, as I think maybe his time is up.

Everton as a team have gone more attacking this season, I LOVE to watch us, we are the most exciting team to watch in my opinion, GOALS GOALS GOALS... BUT!!! We are used to keeping clean sheets, but when we attack like we do we must be ready to leak in a few...  I think we need a defensive mid with some height and power, I sometimes feel we are to short in the c.mid area, like Nev and Ossie... I would love if we got Vadis Odjidja-Ofoe to help the middle out..

    Are you serious mate?????????????????

Comments like this is why i left the blueroom...

Also a link to the clubs OFFICIAL website please read his profile http://www.evertonfc.com/player-profile/john-heitinga

He also made 29 starts and 1 sub appearance in the premiership last season, seeing that the league is 38 games it looks like he played more than the half of games that you stated.

Would get more proof but i think this should be sufficient...

Right off to work i go...

If i had a say i honestly don't think at this point i would sell anyone unless it was for silly money or we had a bit in the coffers to add to it as anyone we sell wouldn't generate enough to trade up in quality.

I think people have been a little harsh on Geuye he hasn't had a fair crack at it if you ask me, when he got a run he did well against especially against Sunderland! So he is worth persisting with to see if this season in the development squad has brought more consistent form.

I think it will be all about the loan market i'd expect Ofoe to join really soon, after that the rumour of Milner is a welcome one for me i think he'd do a great job on our right and that Forren lad as cover at the back would make it a good window.

    agree with all this......

Had a look on twitter and the comments on gueye are ridiculous....writing negative comments in this forum is one thing, but if you write it on twitter you may as well be saying it to the kids face, and I doubt any of those clowns have the balls to do that....he's only a kid playing in a foreign country, and we didn't spend much money on him...if he goes back to France good luck to him, if he stays good for him hope he proves people wrong....

    Milner would be nice......

gueye and heitenga , heitenga is only one who would generate any decent money, doubt we get any interest in barkley like before , we need to bring in cover for gibson if moyes wont play felliani there and persists with neville (had enough of seeing him there) if we could get enough from sale of heitenga to buy the belgium from brugge i would happily let him go and use duffy as cover, dont forget hibberts stood in a few times at centre half and did ok. but i cant really see anything happening other than the squad getting weakened by a few leaving, why we cant get money is beyond me, 40 odd mill in debt isnt a great deal and with the new sky deal and probably the eventual sale of felliani its a wonder the banks arent falling over themselves, but then again we will probably sell felliani for 30 + million buy nobody and still be 40 odd million in debt as the money will dissapear into a blackhole called the board members pockets.

    Thanks man, always liked you!

I don't do twitter to be honest but had a bit of a gander and you can tell a lot don't follow the development league or they would see he is not far away from knocking on the door, but he has been poor in some games when given his chance but so was even the exalted Rooney! If he does go though good look to him, nicely put.

Really think he'd fit our work ethic and he can play across the middle giving us more cover, would be a good move but i think he could be another marmite type player

I don't really understand the logic of Summer being a better time to sell Heitinga. His replacement will need time to bed into the team whether it's now or at the start of next season (coz knowing us, we won't do our business til August as usual). Plus, once we get to the end of this season, Heitinga is in the last year of his contract and you can knock a million or two off what you should expect to get for him and I don't think he'd sign a new contract. Sell now! We have to! And we also have to buy a centre back with at least some of the dosh.

I'd sell Gueye too if the rumoured £2.4 Million interest from Lyon is true!

I'd keep Vellios (although he's about to enter the last year of his contract too) - and send Barkley back out on loan again if we can get the lad from Brugge - And this time, try get him a club a good bit higher up the Championship table than Sheffield Wednesday!
