    To be fair, this was likely due to the drop in ticket sales during our ****-poor start to the season. If we get CL football we'll be profiting. If we get into the Europa league we might profit. This season is extremely important.

    there's f*ck all money to be made from Europa league, and we'd need a bigger squad to deal with it.....just like it can be an advantage to us this season that we don't have the extra games the others will have, next season Europa league football will f*ck us up...

    Yeah the Europa league is shoite but it does generate revenue; potentially enough for us to profit.

    Have some guts to believe we can cope with EL & CL qualifications, lads. Trust in Moyes adding in players, we'll have just enough depth. One way to succes.

    champions league is NOT europa league tho'

    most english teams do not benefit financially from this unles they go on to win it....

    in fact it actually kils them somewhat..look at newcastle, fulham and dare i say it...them...
