Please! although i like the kid, he is lacking in ability, i have seen the (very)lazy side of him, when he wanted a move away he seem not even in to playing, and as for "always scores" this is his most consistent year so far, although, most years he's been hit with an injury. still dont think he is the quality for us and we should be pushing for higher. He as never stood up as a star, a great player to come off the beach or given a start every now and again but in no way is 1st on the sheet.
Bulldozing as he does, he often finds himself running out of place. but last night he did make a good run into space for his goal which combining that with being able to pass/cross would up his game.. shame he's not 19 anymore.

Srt of agree with this but also feel he offers something to the club which is more than his transfer value

i did agree at the time Tone, and i will say this, the lad's finishing has improved, and he DOES know where the onion bag is. Like most players though, he has his weaknesses, but, nobody is perfect and as long as he keeps working hard and improving he's worth his place in the team.

he does look better coming off the bench, never really makes much impact when he starts, but last 20 minutes he can overpower and out muscle tired defenders, altho he had a good game vs chelsea and worked harder than i seen for a while, maybe the penny has dropped, but atm coming off the bench suits him

    No.. no.. no.. no..
11 prem goals in 7 years and over 100 games before this season.. A few good games in one year where he has scored 5 goals does not make people wrong about dissing someone with a record like that, a lad who, when he doesn't score his obligitory 1 or 2 goals in a season, instead wonders around the field waving his arms and sulking or falling over.
How are we in the wrong to have slated him for that? He's on more money a week than most earn a year ffs.
If he scores 100 goals a season it is right he was slated for the last 7 seasons of mediocrity.

Hes only 24 you balloon head he was thrown in the deep end as a kid he's maturing into a half decent squad player or is the hate nothing to do with football and you just hate black people?

I am one of the lads biggest detractors, but he will have my support when he shows the commitment he has done for the last few games and doesn't show his stroppiness which he has a tendancy to, think that goes for the majority of people at the ground as you could hear the support he got on Sunday when he looked like he was working as hard as he could. As supporters I think we will forgive a lot as long as you are giving 100%.

At what age and how long should a player be at the club before we should expect a player to care about his profession?
Apparently 7 seasons and 23 isn't long enough.
1 half season doesn't atone for previous years of being the worst player at the club.
