If they had signed him for 11 mil & paid 55k per week it would of been the same.

I think sturridge is worth the gamble......good prospect if he sorts out his attitude, was good for Bolton when he was given games, and alot of strikers would struggle for games at man city & Chelsea....
If he's a success he'll be worth 30 million in a years time...
If he's average, there's always teams stupid enough out there that will give Liverpool most of their money back... -

'They claim Cole, 31, has agreed a two-and-a-half year contract at Upton Park, on around £30,000 a-week, with Liverpool paying him £50,000 a week for the remaining 18-months of his deal at Anfield.'
It's unbelieveable the amount of money that lot have literally chucked away over the years.
I wouldn't trust them to run a tombola stall at a summer fete, the clueless to$$ers.
