    Everton star Marouane Fellaini has cited the unwanted attention of Liverpool's women as one of the reasons why he has moved out of the city.

    The mop-haired midfielder has moved to nearby Manchester where the people 'treat him with more respect' after growing frustrated with interest shown in by the Liverpudlians.

    "I could not stay in Liverpool any longer," admitted the Belgian in quotes carried by the Sun.

    "I was recognised too much and sometimes women would suddenly climb all over me.

    "The paparazzi also took some getting used to. I don’t want to be a big star.

    "People in Manchester treat me with more respect."

    The 25-year-old has been in sensational form this season and has been linked with a big money move away from Liverpool.

    He is currently dating Lara Binet who is a former Miss Belgium finalist.

    i should think there are a lot of players that dont live in the city of the club they play for..saying that though i bet both manchester clubs will be sniffing around in the next few days!! X(
