We need another striker

Watched game on the web today, more points dropped due to cr@p finishing, we should of, as like many other games, been out of sight by end of first half, Jelavic was very poor again in front of goal, hope he starts the new year like beginning of this. At this rate we will be selling our 'best' players, because they are not going to hang around for more 'ifs and buts' excuses and promises of what might be next season.

Jelavic hit the post twice.  That's just bad luck.  We had a total of 3 post hit.  Had they gone in the result would have been 4 - 2.  Just saying.

Apostolic Vellios ? Maybe he could convert some of those chances :)

I know you all hate big vic, but he's improving and I got no problem him starting, he was great again today as he has been most times he's been picked.

I don't think vellios would disappoint either given the game time.

Who can we afford to bring in?

jelavic played really well today....hit the woodwork twice, forced cech into a great save.....and then yes missed a great chance (but after working his @ss of for 90 minutes maybe its not as easy a chance as it looked).....
So with abit of luck, he could have had 2 or 3 goals today against one of the best teams in the league....thats all he needs right now, and its all our team needs, just some luck...

the fact is when we dominate periods or play we don't score enough and when we're on the backfoot we leak too many goals my prediction for this season is 8th

Too right. That's the difference between the best and the average. The best put away more chances consistently.

I think we still think we are inferior and play with fear against our usual adversaries.we miss easy chances and it's time to give our fringe players such as barkly,Duffy and vellios a chance as well as get a good keeper to challenge tim.

Missing hatfull's of chances in the odd game here and there can be attributed to bad luck.

But not when it's nearly every feckin game.

Are we just ungrateful, our record against the big teams is great and looking back at the points accumulation of the second half of last season and the start of this one we should all be very proud and happy with our club.

    Don't worry be happy now.

    I'm chuffed

Gone are the years of suffering with the only excitement in a season is avoiding relegation, considering resources we are performing above expectations and very well.

Howdy, Stranger!
