NSNO said:top marks to Moyes......brought alot of class & credit back to the club after Felli's moment of madness.....
i'm sick of managers saying "oh i didn't see it", "he's not that type of player"....sick of liverpool managers talking shlte.......
now in the pub, when Liverpool fans complain about the headbutt.......we can just say, "yeah he deserved a red card, he got a deserved ban, our manager hid behind no-one, our manager said ban him, our player immediately owned up & apologised, no problem.................what did your club do?".............argument won.....

In fairness cjohno, its not Fergie the
refs are afriad of. Its the legions of fans Man United have that hang on
his every word and who sponsors all over the world look to get in front
of... and hence the press pays a huge amount of sympathetic attention
to.
Why else do you thing the 'big clubs' get decisions that
others don't.... whose going to buy Mr Poll's books and read his press
column if he's upset all of the fans of the big prem clubs?
I can
assure you that not only would the refs not care what fergie said if he
was managing stoke city, but fergie would be playing a very different
media game if he was managing stoke city.
Moyes doesn't have the
media pull to play with that man united provide fergie with. But he has
done very well of late with his tactics.... and while he hasn't always
got it right, I think we've all seen him out fergie fergie at least
once.
