    Wish the news on his ban would come out, suspense is killing me! I'm new the the forum by the way, been using it for a while but never bothered to sign up, look forward to chatting with you all :)

    You're not gonna hear about a ban today. He'll be charged, be given a week or whatever to respond, may request a personal hearing etc.

    It could be a couple of weeks before any suspension is actually handed down.

    thought we'd have heard news of a charge by now......hope thats not a bad thing that the FA are taking alot of time to think about it......

    Much as I think he was a total plonker to do what he did.....there seems to be a lot more media coverage of this than for other similar, if not worse, incidents. We all know what they are.

    The refereeing situation in general has been a total farce this season.

    The FA needs to be really careful here. How many other retrospective punishments have been handed down so far this season?

    It's all wrong. A referee can make a massive mistake that costs a team 3 points, but if he misses something, then the FA can pick it up and penalise?

    The game needs a serious overhaul IMHO.

    you'd imagine with the high media attention it got, that the FA would have dealt with it today....and if they were gonna consider it a straight forward 3 game ban, we'd have heard now....prehaps they can't agree on a punishment yet, which would suggest some of the panel do want to hand out a longer ban....

    or prehaps the FA are just being useless as always....

    yeah that will do.....never thought he deserved anymore than that, but once Lawro and the rest of the RS media starting stirring shlt, i was getting more & more worried......
