And yet they continue to relax gun laws in the USA.....so sad.....

    the purpose of the second amendment of our constitution is to ensure that the people of our country could/can arm themselves against the government ... i do not personally own a gun nor want to own one because i do not think i need one but there may come a time in our country's future where i may consider getting one (if the political system gets any more corrupt / outright illegal) ... i would be in favor of amending the constitution if it provided more safety to the general public but as yet there has been no such proposal that i have read ... i am absolutely against the banning of guns though ... i do not support the existing gun laws on the basis of monetary gain through hunting tourism and other such activities though as the gentlemen from kentucky proposes though ... just my bit on a large complex issue

    how is that? ... look at it contextually ... there was a real threat that a consolidated conglomerate power like our new government could become just as corrupt and tyrranical as the system of government that we were declaring independence from

    If guns were banned tone mentals wouldnt go on rampages with candlesticks.

    I could even give some leeway to a handgun locked in a safe with licence for home protection but this f*cker , colombine , virginia tech etc are walking in with entire amouries that america has allowed them to have.



    Who needs any rapid fire weapon ? Cant use hunting as an excuse for that one

    Funny you mention daily murder numbers.  How many of those are guns licensed legally to the murderer?  Almost zero percent.  It's only the thugs that have these weapons illegally that are giving a bad name.  Millions of people own guns in a safe manner and teach their children how to respect/handle the weapon.  Anyways, I'm about done with this topic.  Our countries are too different in this manner apparently.  I figured you all owned guns too.  Guess not.

    lol, well that's about life around my neck of the woods.  I'm in an actual developed town but that environment isn't far from me at all.
