Apart form match day.. does anyone listen to the radio... and if so what station/show do you listen too?

I can't bear more than 10 minutes or so of talksport without wishing to commit murder!

I was actually hopeful of digital radio....the reception is still crap around here..... but in the end the combination of wifi, iphone and a speaker dock in the kitchen is a far better result!

BBC 5 live....BBC2....and a punt around some of the worlds radio stations on the tunein app..... I'm quite partial to a bit of 80's stuff of radio soma while cooking...

funny you should bring this up tbh mate, cos on the way home from the footy i chuckled most of the way home listenign to the 606 phone in and it made me think about getting a radio for a saturday afternoon so i could listen to the verbal dioreaha that soem football fans talk, cos lets be fair, a lot of the time, its irrational, drunken jibber jabber that makes no sense to them selves or anybody ele.

Could be the best 32.99 i ever spend at argos.

Its because I do a lot of driving and there's only so much music you can listen to... quite often now I'll do a two hour drive with the stereo off... thinking... mulling things over... but I'd like to find a reliable station...

At the minute I do kerrang to staffordshire... radio 2 to crewe... radio city to stockport... radio tameside to work... the differences are astounding... quite like local radio.. like a time warp!

As Milks for me in and home from work.
Switch between Radio Merseyside and City after the match, mainly to hear the RS callers, theyre hilarious.
5 Live if there is boxing on, love it on the radio boxing, you have to paint the picture like....
Radio Cymru sometimes if my Fave Elin Fflur is on, she gets married this Saturday, massive Everton fan and her brother coaches for Red Bull's in usa, the youth teams i think, he was out with the lad(coach) who got stabbed to death over there, he had left him earlier in the night, next morning he was dead.
Radio 4 occassionally if were in the Wifes car, but i hate "the Archers", got some good comedy stuff on though.
Used to listen to Radio 3 for the test matches, always entertaining that in the old days....

Real XS 106.1 (near manchester) Fantastic station, plays 30 mins of unbroken tunes every hour. The only radio station I've known to play Telegraph Road (about 15 mins) right the way through. No modern cack on there whatsover.

Telegraph road is a cumtastic song.

Knopfler at the end makes a guitar sound like the voice of dolphin , puppy , baby angel hybrid
