We're all aware of the damage the drug abuse, much like alcohol abuse, can do to someone. I personally think that if people still wish do that to themselves then fine, but as soon as someone under the influence actions hurt someone else then the law has to get involved.

Maybe list your drugs that you would legalise (with usage guidelines and standards maintained) and what you would criminalise?

    Legalise:
    Alcohol
    Tobacco
    Cannabis
    Ecstasy
    LSD

    Criminalise:
    Cocaine
    Heroin
    Amphetamine
    Methamphetamine
    Opium

    -----------------

    Legalize:
    Alcohol
    Tobacco
    Cannabis
Prostitution (in licensed premises only :P  )

    Criminalise:
    Anabolic Steroid's
    LSD (including Magic Mushrooms)
    Ecstasy
Cocaine (and other drugs that are made from it - Crack)
    Heroin
    Amphetamines (including Ketamine)
    Meth
    Opium

    ........................

TC - Not too sure why you would allow the use of LSD or E to be honest.....both bad drugs lol

Zagan, in all cases it would be an official agreed dose of said drug. It would be within safe limits. It is said that Jimi Hendrix was taking LSD that was around quarter of the strength that is around today.

Fair enough, it would be against the law to drive a car, operate heavy machinery after taking some. Or wander the streets in a bad LSD induced mess. But then the same is true of alcohol today.

Well there are very little arrest's of people pi**ed walking the streets these days.... what's the chances of people getting arrested for being on LSD walking the streets?

I'd be more than happy to draw the line at weed.

I have to agree that all drugs are harmful, when taken excessively, however I don't think we should criminalise people for wanting to put s**t in their own bodies.
