Why can't we get our kit in the shops.

Why can't we get our kit in a normal shop. Go to any sports shop  you can get all the other teams,  even spanish, german russian but can't see EVERTON. I want to buy the kids some shirts for Xmas don't live in liverpool and can't go into a normal shop and try them on for size (kids size chart just gives chest size). Have to go to the website pay postage and hope it fits. Well would but don't even have half the kids sizes in stock.. 3 weeks before Xmas and can't buy a shirt !!.  I have money and want to give it to the club and they are making it so difficult.
When everyone else is maximising merchandising and brand we are hiding our kit away. I know parents who don't support a particular team and have taken their kids to a shop to buy a shirt they like. They never even see ours.

please moan to the club, lets get our kit out in all the shops for everyone to see.

Apparently we have to buy from Nike in bulk, if there are none left in the sizes you're looking for then it would seem the bulk lot for that size has sold out and it's probably not financially viable to purchase another load. I'd say it's Nike policies rather than the club that have done you here mate.

We haven't had our kit in a "normal" shop for a while, it's not just the new kit with nike. If its true we have run out so soon in the season before xmas and its not viable to buy more then we have a crap deal. Sick of walking into local shops n seeing red everywhere.

It's because Kitbag (an online store) have bought the rights to be our official retailer. Previously it was JJB but in 2009 they ballsed up the release date for the 09/10 kit but Everton wanted to bring it out earlier in the summer but due to JJB being useless they ended up releasing the kit 1 or 2 weeks before the season started.

Why have a deal like that with kitbag, no one thinks its good. It makes the club look small as you can't see the kit in any shops and it can't make commercial sense as i've got money but can't buy anything. Spoke to Everton today, no delivery date for kit may get some after Xmas. They thought maybe a problem with NIke. Don't know any other team with Nike that you can't get their stuff.

I'm the same mate, tried to buy a full kit for myself to wear down the park, no socks or shorts in my size. Sick of it.

Kin ell, I honestly don't know why people moan..... getting s**t online is far easier than walking through a crowded busy town filled with kn*bheads and people who smell of p*ss and biscuits.......

Because retailers wouldn't know a good team if it smacked them on the @rse. The majority of then don't even know where Everton is located

i know what you mean mate, but tbh i just use an older pair of shorts like, i think it makes you look more cool mixing it up, blue top and then 3rd kit navy blue shorts with whatever socks are clean at the time like

Weirdly i was in HMV in Liverpool One yesterday and they were selling replica Everton kits from the 80's, so there must be a demand for our stuff away from the online shop and mega (well two floor shop) store

The exclusivity deal was ok when we were with LeCoq as they are not a global brand but by hamstringing the Nike brand we have lost a massive chance to increase our teams marketing. i would wager that we have picked up a shed load of casual fans from lower leagues this last few seasons with our brand of football who may have bought the top if available in the local JD or wherever

keep getting emails from the club "20% off shop now" I would if you had the kit in stock !!! Sent them an email. Nice polite apology "out of stock due to great demand". Didn't they expect people to buy it? Too close to Xmas now & still no delivery date, won't be able to get it for my son now.
