Ref decisions

Hi, i've been having a bit of a debate about ref's elsewhere and I was challenged to come up with as many incidents as I could find and some evidence to back it up.. Normally wouldn't go to the effort but it was quite interesting as I started as to just how screwed over we have been this year.

Anyway here's the post, can anyone think of more, any counter decisions or come up with any arguments against these?... As far as i can tell we've been hammered by refs for the last 12/13 games and its cost us a lot of points. Am I just being biased or is this a lot of decisions since we are 14 games into the season?

Newcastle Anichebe goal dissalowed that clearly crossed the line..

Newcastle Felli goal dissalowed for offside when clearly on..

QPR Peinaar sent off for an unbelievable second yellow:

QPR Blatant pen on Jelavic denied

Cant find a pic or vid.. have to read one of the many stories running it..

    Wigan their goal offside

Wigan Penalty denied that should of been

Wigan Penalty denied that should of been - In all 3 clear penalties only 1 given

Can't find but write up here

    http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2...premier-league

RS - Sterling should of gone

Can't find the 2 blatant fouls but they are as obvious as the rest

RS - Suarez should of gone x 2

RS - for their goal that wasn't.. Osman was lesser foul than Coates.. so if Osman's was even a foul... Coates should of been blown for a foul

Reading - Penalty for a blatant handball in the box

Again just a write up pointing out the two pens.. o

    http://www1.skysports.com/football/l.../261678/report

Norwich - freekick that lead to their equaliser was very soft and very
few refs would of called an air shot and falling over a foul.

Arsenal - Arteta Pen was pretty straightforwards as well.

    Can't find a gif

    Leeds as well http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/evert...52-31907517/2/

    First paragraph there

So Arteta on Pienaar no pen.. Cauker on Fellaini no pen.. Felli on Dzeko is a pen and now this is no pen either... Blatant foul in the box in 4 games in a row, it just so happens the only blown for is the one against us..
Result of the Stoke one is Felli loses it and we lose Fellaini

Next week.. next complaint.. West Ham this time
    http://www.soccer-blogger.com/2012/12/22/west-ham-vs-everton-goals-1-2-highlights-pienaar-anichebe-gibson-carlton-cole-red-card-video/

2 sided poor refing today.. 1 incorrectly disallowed goal.. 2 incorrect red cards.. 1 either side. Disgraceful referreing results in the West Ham home fans chanting 'you don't know what your doing'.. even when he sends our own player off.... That's testament to how bad he was.

You can sometimes let one or two go but we've had some pretty bad decisions go against us that have often changed the game.

Nice compiliation though, should send it to the refs to show how crap they've been.

Just also thought I'd mention that the more I see the two Suarez incidents the more it makes the me absolutely hate him. They were both definatly intentional and they should've gone back and banned him for it.

good work ihaters - keep it up - the truth should be faced and not be swept under the carpet - keep on chiseling - every little knock helps to split the rock

Joleon Lescott fouling Jagielka seconds before Manchester City were awarded a penalty.

Good post mate maybe we could get it sticky'd minus all our @rselicking comments and just get each bad decision added to, to see what it looks like at the end of the season (obv in the interest of fairness we should have a post with all the fortunate decisions we got to compare with at the end of the season)

maybe i have my blue tinted specs on but i woul argue this weekend the peno city got should never have been given.

That sounds like a good idea. Your comment would also have to be deleted, in the interest of consistency. Mine also.

Definitely make this thread a "sticky". For the sake of balance, and to lend it some credibility, put in the decisions which go in our favour. At the end of the season, add up all the points lost and gained and send it to the newspapers, the FA, everyone.

so refreshing to see the open minded response on this thread - lets get the facts straight by keeping proper records and then draw our final conclusion towards the end of the season for all to see and for use in demanding appropriate action if needs be -
by keeping our eyes peeled nobody is going to pull the wool over our eyes with wooly ,unsubstantiated, prejudiced opinions -
can someone for instance have a closer look at whether Jagielka was fouled by Lescot before Valaini fouled the MCity player leading to the penalty?.
In the Norwich Sunderland game a defender was hanging on to a Norwich striker in the penalty area which made Felaini's foul look like a tickle in comparison - but no foul\penalty was given

Yeah thought of you like.. that's why there's loads of pictures :)

Cheers guys was intending a one off post but if its in demand, i'll keep on top of it.
don't think we should put up the Dzeko pen as despite Lescott fouling in the background and Dzeko jumping on the floor, Felli is holding him and although its never given it is technically a foul. I will keep it to clean, defo missed calls and that one is pretty debateable, even though its less of a foul than the recent Arteta one on Pienaar...
I'm open to convincing though, just don't want it to be shreddable as blue tinted whinging when so far they have simply been terrible decisions.. Moyes should of blasted those one not this one imo.

    http://www.soccer-blogger.com/2012/12/01/man-city-vs-everton-2012-highlights-1-1-fellaini-goal-tevez-penalty-video/
57 seconds in on the first vid, he is holding and therefore technically a foul.

the first of the 2 (vs Distin) from that little suarez punk always strikes me as just clumsy.  he actually looks surprised for a second.  the second was pure malice.

    We're all biased..all supporters are.
Refs make mistakes...even the best ones..so do linesmen.
If I was subject t' this kind o' scrutiny I know I wouldnt come up smellin o' roses.
They 'ave a spli' second t' decide while you 'ave access to latest technology t' decide a' yer leisure.
Just sayin.Accept we 'ave go' shitty end o' stick a lot tho.

the officials also have access to the latest techno;ogy - they just stubbornly without valid reason refuse to make use of it - they are prepared to let a player fake a head injury and waste 3 minutes but they are not prepared to look at a replay for 15 seconds to assist them in match changing decisions - just crazy and unjustifyable to me -
no sympathy - the pace of the game and confidence tricksters are too much for them to handle - but they refuse to admit it - so they absolutely deserve the flack they are getting at the moment
Newcastle got a penalty tonight against Wigan for a much softer foul than the Arteta\Pienaar one - and Wigan got a red card for that too - where is the consistancy ? we got zulch
