It's time for Moyes to realise that Hibbert has passed his sell by date, he loses the team momentum when we are in attack and his passing has got even worse.

I'm not messing to be honest, but he's been alright so far today.

Have you not noticed we've been leaking goals whilst Coleman is playing right back? Coincidence? I think not.

were looking a lot more solid with hibbert gibson and distin, gibson is very important to us, but hibbert is much better than coleman who cant defend, we need some defensive players.

Our defence is looking solid again with HIbbert and Gibson back just what the team needed.

    and we conceeded again.

the back 4 has been unstable all season due to injury and rotation

not sure when we last kept a clean sheet.

no fault on the defenders today but the continued rotation isn't helping.

The point is: Hibbert, Jagielka, Distin and Baines are a bloody good back four. They kept the League Champions at bay today, away. Credit where credit is due. Those players deserve a go at the Champions League. When Mirallas comes back, the rest of the team might just measure up to their standard.

All I read was positives about hibbert until today.

Why do we have to slate our players so often, every team on every match day will have someone below par or who makes a mistake, it's football, don't be so critical and back the man in blue.

Osman hibbert great servants and I think they both really want to play

Neville is injured. Time to find someone else to pick on!

Better not pick on one of the untouchables tho

Hibbert at one point stood up two of their "world class" stars and halted an attack by himself. He made some timely challenges. We didn't concede through open play at the home of the champions. You're right, he's ****.

Yea I thought Hibbo has been decent too but Gibson has been the main reason for the better performances in my opinion

Hibbert isn't brilliant at going forward but I think we have enough upfront to do that job he has looked solid against City i thought

It looks like people want perfection in our players. They must defend resolutely and attack with style and panache. Nothing but the best indeed. Such high expectations for a club with limited resource.
