    haha, yes mate, father time catches up with everyone.......maybe i should take up butchery next and yuo could give me some pointers?! :)

    Reading result was frustrating, i think so far the season as a whole is probably turning into more frustrating than last, as wth a bit more luck, we would be only a couple of points off the top.....but, saying that, we have gotten into a position where, if we have a good 2nd half of the season run, we could finish top 4, you jsut never know!! As for Jelly, we definitely need another striker for when he isnt firing imo....we cant rely on him week in week out, but, if he does hit top gear again, then we could soon rack some decent wins up...herer's hoping! :)

    He's a right pr1ck that father time... still, keep fighting while the going is good!

    It was a bad result, as are all these draws, but like you say we are in a position and all about aren't setting the world on fire. But we aren't far off the time of year when we usually do.

    Its funny though really, Everton and strikers. We've got away with all sorts going back, from what have been kids in fairness to Victor and Vaughan. To Beattie and his man_boobs....and everything in between, AJ the magical penalty machine who seemed to get found out the minute we bought him, Yak the lazy yet talented goat....the less said about Marcus Bent, Southampton aside, the better. It doesn't seem that long ago Duncan Ferguson was delivering body blows to Fulham defenders.

    We've largely played with one up top.... but just when we've got one striker who does look the business we go and think we can depend on him all the time, game in and game out. Its a bit silly really. There are plenty of teams out there with two quality strikers, and most of those are below us in the league.

    hahaha, i couldnt agree more mate with what you say, i think if we were to get anothet talented striker in, it would take the pressure of Jelavic and we might see an even better striker in him than what we already have. I think more frustrating than him not socring though, is that we look capable of scoring goals now from anywhere in midfield, but we arn't.......i think when it clicks though, there will be a few teams on the end of a right good hiding.....lets just hope sooner rather than later starting with Man City on sat!! :)
