4 mill???, papers say 2.5mil, some random internet site says 3mill. Whatever happens we will move on, I wouldn't mind RDM tbh.

Not sure about defensive but we will agree to disagree!!! I think you have to close Arsenal down quick when they have the ball, at one point they had the ball for a couple of minutes. Everyone will always have their own views, just think Barkley needs game time in my opinion.

How many clubs are splashing serious money these days? Man City reigned it in, the RS are looking at youth, etc. Would Moyes have had the same time and control at many other clubs? There has been a show of faith for him too. Our problem will be commercial revenue, we make little on match days, facilities are poor and it takes an age to get anything at half time! There needs to be a little more innovation in making money! There were over 37,000 people there last night, how many bought something!!? I agree with some of the points you make, just don't believe things will change, so not sure what it will gain !! They won't throw their own cash at the club!

I think the prospect of Moyes' leaving will make them more disposed to throw some cash about, because they stand to lose more if he goes. There is still a middle ground, I guess: let him go and take on someone like Martinez, who would stand a chance of maintaining our 5/6/7/8th place finish for the foreseeable future, on the existing budget. I'm a daft optimist, though. I want Moyes to have his crack at the Champions League, wearing an Everton tracksuit.

    .

Most of us do, but there is an element of risk from his perspective too!! He works better without money in my opinion! I think the whole club works, not just him!! Scouting, youth, community.... All plays it's part! We are lucky to have him, but you know what, he is VERY lucky to have us!!!

Also, could instability have a negative effect on the team?

Agree with the above, but I hope to see what he would do, given a bit of extra cash. Not silly money, just a bit more. I hope the uncertainty will persuade the owners to spend £10m or more in the winter. Odjidja-Ofoe would be a useful addition.

I agree, he is decent on FIFA like. I do think though Charles, that we need another striker so Jelly has competition and to take the pressure off him too......think with 10 mill Moyes could get the couple of players we need...

£10m/2 players. This sounds reasonable. If Moyes is allowed to do that, then it is some indication that the club wants to keep him and maintain a realistic challenge for the top four. Any less than that amount, and the summer may see a new manager arrive (wild speculation, of course, just for fun). Don't bet on it though- the odds are a joke: http://www.oddschecker.com/football/football-specials/everton-specials/next-permanent-manager

If there is one thing that that website tells us, it is that it is foolish to speculate at this stage- with real money, at least!
