did anyone else notice Baines having a word with Jelavic?

Yesterday with about 20 minutes to go maybe less, Baines was having a right go at Jelavic. I would assume for his lack of movement and effort. I can't recall him really going for it in front of goal. He was nearly always second to every ball that came his way and his positioning on the attack and in and outside the box  was very poor. I don't think he was being lazy purposefully but I do believe that he looked lethargic and really tired. I thought after the  Sunderland goal that it'd be the turning point for him but he just doesn't seem to be the same player as last season. I just wonder if the whole team (and probably Moyes)are starting to notice the issue as well and if anything will be done to try and fix it..

I think someone needs to have a word with Baines meself.....he is playing more like a traditional left back and not getting forward the way he used to do......Let's face it....They are all not doing what they used to do that's why they are not getting the results

clearly missed his chance when he ran like Gareth Bale and was unlucky to score then? he's doing great coming forward, but defensively he was a bit more sloppy then you'd expect. imo

considering the players we got like piennar osman jelavic naismith, baines was our biggest threat with 2 great runs which brought 2 good saves from ruddy, i think its these players who should be having a word with themselves not baines, piennar and osman and jelavic have been poor last few games

yeah i saw him go have a word with Jela after he didnt show for Bainesy and left him running down a blind alley.
trouble is we have no serious competition up front to keep Jela on his toes

Playing as a traditional left back? Baines is the first player in the top 5 leagues in Europe to create 50 chances this season.

Baines is a true competitor. Gives his all. Probably expects the same from those around him.

I'd be more upset if he left us than Fellaini, who I think is playing for himself.

Jelavic was never going to be as good as he was last year, so I think people are being a bit harsh on him. 5 goals in 10 isn't bad, and no matter what, give him a chance and he is likely to score. He is a natural goal scorer and we should be greatful to have him at our club.

typical moyes striker is jelavic, starts off well then moyes manages to turn him into a non scoring attaker

hope so.. we had yak and AJ who were both proven scorers, they went a bit "lazy" and get bombed out.. we have nobody else to replace jelavic, the same as tim howard, baines and fellaini. moyes just keeps buying average defenders and this is leaving us with players with no competition for places who then become complacent and in the end cant be bothered

On Sat I saw a lot of opportunities for through-balls for Jela to run on to when he was in space, not from Baines so much but other players. Never happened once. Last time we did that I think was Swansea and led to an easy goal. He's pretty quick and can shoot from distance so why not?

Based on my post on the other thread, I now believe Baines was having a go at Jelavic for cheating on him with Mirallas.

Give Vellios a go, those lot across the park are giving their youngsters a proper run out so why can't we.

May aswell exploit our youth players to our advantage

He's played Rodwell and Anichebe from starts, 2 players who couldn't make it into the Wigan 1st 11
