    i wouldn't blame Baines for going to United

    he has given good service and the fee will mean we can replace him and have extra for the bank

    Baines = LB.

    It's more likely that Heitinga will be off to Ajax.

    Heitinga to Ajax is possible, although I think he would love to play in Europe at Everton.

    The problem i have with this repeated Forren link is, he'll be of no benefit to us this season......if we have money to spend, we should be looking to spend it on players who will actually get into the team and improve it now....a new right back or a new holding midfielder...and we need a new striker too, when Jelavic isn't scoring we really poor in that department....
    ..and ofcourse a new keeper....

    so a new centre back right now isn't a priority....yes i know Distin isn't getting any younger, but right now we have a shot at 4th spot, so we should be think short term rather than long term in January

    just because he looks a bit like baines doesnt mean he's here to replace him ;)

    after last seasons form Heitinga won me over but for whatever reason its just not happening again this season and there's always that risk that Moyes will play him in centre Mid - so im no longer concerned if we do let him go.
