    Our defensive performances have been no different with Heitinga in the team. It doesn't matter which one of them plays, we're defending the same regardless.

    That's the point you seem to be missing.

    the point ur missing is that the goal we conceded today was 100% heitingas fault and nobody elses at all!
    dont defend the indefensible
    u just talk a load of bull and repeat it-that doesnt make it right it just makes you look repeatedly stupid!

    I agree ,I have been saying for weeks that he gives too many free kicks away in dangerous areas. I recon after the next three games that Fellaini will be sorting his bags out.

    Only 2 men to blame for their goal, the REF as it was never a free kick, and of course Howard who never came for a ball that was in the air so long, watched it all the way and stayed rooted to his line(when the ball was in the 6yd box), unforgivable as a keeper. It must be said though he kept us in the game with saves from the free kick and a really awkward one from the header.

    All valid points-and the refs have been cruel to us all season BUT watch the goal again and watch heitings with bassong he has his shirt then lets him go as the ball is crossed and leaves him unmaked for a free header. yes howard could have come for it and i agree it wasnt a free kick in the 1st place BUT it was sheitingas defensive error that allowed the goal whichever way u slice it!

    Want to agree with you but as an ex keeper myself, even if he had come and didnt get the ball the mere fact he would have gone for it in the area where he won the header, he would not have got to it(Bassong)......

    plus it was more than 10 games.

    Why hasnt someone blamed Coleman yet, he was in the ground, so must have upset the defence by being there, surely.....not to mention they showed Neville in the crowd on the big screen, first time he's got a round of applause this season....
