Tim Howards concerns about Moyes leaving. How serious is it?

I'm pretty sure by doing this he's telling Big Bill to actually give him money in January and it has obviously worked. We had that £4m bid for the Real Madrid guy turned down.

We haven't spent, net, any money for years.

If we are being 'threatened' by individuals to progress the club.

Maybe nows the time to BORROW money, like every other **** & invest in the team.

I think it's perfectly feasible that Moyes has got his head down and is focusing on the team. He talks to the Chairman every day or every other day (apparently). After 10 years at Everton I don't think he's going to do the dirty on us. He would at least have the decency to give BK the nod if he wanted to feather his nest elsewhere.

I, for one, would be sad to see him go. He has massively over-achieved given his budget restraints.

The tabloids are full of crap. Toilet paper.

Moyes has undoubtedly done wonders to transform Everton from a bottomm feeder to a midfielder - but now we have to go to the next level or publicly announce that we have reached our peak and are happy to stay there -
we had sufficient chances to cement our position in the top 3 so far this season - but we marched backwards playing mostly against the bottom feeders -
surely someone must take responsibility for that - either the players or the manager or both -
technically i think he is exellent - he is also a clever talent scout -
but i am not convinced that he has the mental abillity to turn a side around at halftime in the change room -
his loyalty to certain players and his reluctance to experiment with new players with clever substitutions at critical times also bothers me -
look - he is better than the majority in this leauge - but the jury is still out whether he is good enough to take us all the way -

i dont think it would be a case of moyes going to a bigger club, just to another club. a change of scene, a new challenge. maybe even managing scotland. that job is available right now.

the underlying problem is the strain of trying to compete in a league ruled by money. its like trying to roll a rock up a mountain, you make some headway, but, sooner or later it rolls back down again. it must be a frustrating exercise for a manager who knows he can do a better job with the kind of investment that  only a few clubs have.

we need 3, maybe 4 better players to really compete and to stop giving away leading positions in matches. recently we've drawn several games that we should have, perhaps could have won. we've got some good players, but we simply dont have enough quality in the side to be a real top four challenger, and we dont have the money to buy or to pay them.

a frustrating situation for a talented manager like moyes.

with the likes of guariolla and mourinho hinting about coming to prem moyes has absolutely no chance of a big job in the prem, maybe a move abroad to enhance his knowledge of european football, hes still relatively young and if he did well abroad maybe then at a later date a so called bigger club in the prem might take a chance, martinez for me if pushed for a name. or maybe poyet or di matteo, i think martinez would suit us tho, but once moyes goes i think we will see the likes of felli and jelavic leave, but we will get big money from the sales and if new manager gets a large proportion of the money for transfers we will be ok, and maybe a new manager will give some of the youth a chance, like vellios barkley and duffy.

If Howard is worried that D.M. might leave then he ought to come off his goaline and stop those corners and free kicks getting to the heads of the opposing forwards. We would get a few wins and D.M wouldn't think of leaving.
