i said as soon as he left - we will end up getting him on loan :P

to be fair i read what he said and it just sounded more like he was angling to come back to the premiership regardless of who with - like we would be his first choice but failing that he just wants to get back to the prem!

We wouldnt be as good as we are now if cahill hadnt of f_cked off, if he was still here we wouldnt have mirallas and the ball would be lumped forward to cahills head constantly, he was losing it towards the end also, i think he would contribute in a 3 month loan like, but long term he would of been more of a hinderence than a help

agree with this, though i found it a bit hard to let go at first... the decent start to the season seems to have somewhat helped that though, last week excluded ;)

Off to the Norwich match this weekend, might wear my old Cahill shirt and drum up a bit of support for this loan move :p

Not sure where exactly he plays for NYRB, but one goal from 12 games.....plus his entire 2011 calendar year with no goals?

    N'ahh!

It would be good if he came back to train with the team in the American pre season, but he isn't good enough to play for us anymore.

Would it help to atleast have some experience on the bench though? A short loan would probably be ok where he could just be subbed in around the 65 or 70' mark or whatever.

I would have him back. It could only help, it's only a loan deal and he loves our club.

he would just take the place of a more talented younger player so it's a big no from me.
