What I don't get is, I post a thread which is nothing to do with racism and get a warning off a mod and some mental complaining about it.

This one is all to do with racism and the anti racism guy doesn't come near it.

    Its something elseism this.

Have we got enough Asians posting? Just thinking if we drop below 10% Asian posts... this forum is racist! and the BNP (Black National Party or whatever they call themselves) will have us closed down.. Unless we have enough black people anyway in which case they will probably not care about the Asians. Its about them not equality one suspects.

Judges and barristers who join the SBL have to wear a wig like this in court.img src="

That is me in the photograph. I'm much older now, but the wig is still like new. It's a really good one.

PS What does this "." mean?

How can they have a blacks only organisation in a country in which racial discimination is against the law? Especially, they being lawyers, they would be expected to know this. Have they no sense of irony? Maybe the explanation is glaringly obvious- they are just duff lawyers.

On the other hand, maybe they have spotted a loophole in the law, and exploited it in a ruthless, self-serving way. This would make them good lawyers. Of course, they would be reluctant to dutifully campaign for a change in the law, to close the loophole, for this would mean the end of their Society. It would be a sad day, removing the posters from the walls of their clubroom, and stacking the chairs up for the last time.

Maybe it is a clever, commercially-motivated campaign, designed to attract clients accused of racial crimes. Like, if you pat a lady on the bottom or call her “love” in the workplace, you are better- represented at the resulting industrial tribunal by a lady shop steward. It makes you look less of a rapist, if a woman is prepared to stick up for you. The only other way is to prance about like a raging fruit, EG Graham Norton, and get your shop steward to do the same. You could pass off the bottom-patting and affectionate mode of address as bona fide homosexual mannerisms. In addition, the bosses will not wish to be seen to be horrible to gays. Fight fire with fire, and enjoy the opportunity to camp it up in front of an audience of po-faced hate-filled bullies. It’s the same if you are in the dock, accused of an alcohol related crime- it won’t do you any good if your barrister turns up_pissed and flings his car keys on the table, so that they skim across it and land on the floor. Better to have one who looks sober. So, if you are unfortunate enough to be presented to a stoning mob for saying the wrong thing about a black person, you are better-off if you have a black lawyer to tell them you are not a slave trader. People in these situations need to be able to recruit, expediently, a black lawyer, without any awkwardness or embarrassment- or further charges. Dial 18 18 18 for the SBL. They’ve even got a sense of humour.

OGV, you're perfectly placed to do something about this. You could make a complaint about this saying you feel discriminated against as you are excluded from the society on racial grounds.

You could make a name for yourself.

In fact, all this PC cack could be stopped if everyone complained about racism and jammed the judicial system with ridiculous claims. Anyone calls me a scouser, I'm phoning the law.

I'd be quite happy if there were no societies of lawyers... and I'm not jokin... small mercy I dont have to pay £1,500 a year to "subscribe" so that they can self regulate.... its now only £500... for which I get to look in their overpriced shop in london... if I wanted to do work that wasnt covered by someone elses insurance I'd be paying £30k a year PII and need six years run off cover... which I can only get from a select handful of insurers... who then get to keep their prices up... all selected by? the law society who take £500 a year off me for the privilege...
