Man City are the perfect example of that - anyone who doesn't see that they were INTENTIONALLY shafted in their game against Ajax 2 weeks ago is a _fucking twit!
There were decisions in that game that no reasonable person could tell me were genuine officiating errors.
And it's happened them before. And will again - UEFA hates them!

even the group draw was suss (much like when we drew Villareal)........Man City (champs of England) get the champs of Spain, German & Holland........while United & Arsenal get soft groups.....

That's one of the things I was referring to when I said they'd been screwed before.

How is it physically possible to be offside when a cross is coming almost from the byline? Anyone who calls that a genuine mistake is _fucking retarded. (not you Ogv)

I knew NSNO would see the light! :D

Still love to be in it though……it’s the hard thing with being a football fan these days….i know its corrupt as hell, but its not like we're gona stop watching it…..and I have a feeling the longer we stay 4th, the more crazy shlt we’re gonna have to put up with…..i’ve already noticed some decisions Arsenal are getting (arteta offside goal against QPR…and the peno decision they got on Saturday, wasn’t the refs fault arteta missed it)

We got a penalty turned down against Sunderland for the exact same thing!

the year when Johnson was playing for us and although is no doubt his past reputation didnt help, but was still amazing statistic that we didnt get one penalty despite the fact we were the second most fouled team in prem...then low and behold we got one when there was finally no chance of us finishing fourth...all legal process (as Old Golden Vision may back me up in) is about investigations based on circumstantial evidence, precedent and motivation...but you can't speculate using these ideals now without the words conspiracy theorist cropping up. My conspiracy theory is that lots of idiotic theories are put out there to discredit sensible speculation. Has there ever been a point in histpry when the levels of crazy money beng spent on champs league wouldn't lead to someone trying to beinefit unfairly

one key thing too is that I don't remember any fans of any clubs going on about the old European Cup, Uefa and Cup Winners and say it wasnt working for them and they wanted a big change.

tend to think that was the initial long term plan but those pesky fans standing in the way. would be interesting to see where biggest fan base would be if it happened. there were plenty of people round here moaning about the win against Man U and pretty much saying it wasnt fair we had Fellaini. I really don't know what that is all about. New breed of football supporter

This is the spectre which is stalking football. I would rather fight it. I would rather have a league in which any club can compete for the European Cup, not just a fixed four. If there was a Euro super league, all the top players would be siphoned off and the remaining majority of clubs would be condemned to playing second division football. At the moment, EFC is the party spoiler for the money cheats, and I love it. COYB. Stick it to them. If we qualify for the CL, I fancy us to get into the knockout stage- why not, apart from bent officials?

think a European Super League would end up like football's own version of professional wrestling meets american football. they may want it but it would probably destroy them presuming you would have players hauled on for ten minute cameos to sell shirts and games engineered for excitement, at the moment though agree that its fun being the team kicking against it..esecially with the football we are playing..
