Beano said:If the huge offer Moyes wants comes in January, it could happen. But I would think all sides are thinking more about summer.
brett said:whatever happens just think if we all start seeing it as inevitable he goes in Jan then it will have negative effect on atmosphere and our chances of making champions league. we are roughly 3 to 1 to do it now with most bookies and their prices tend to be biased towards London and Manchester clubs. Arsenal and Spurs are imploding, and Moyes seems to have built a system to get the very best out of Fellaini so all the signs are that there is agreement between them to see how far he can go with blues. He needs assurances of first team football and a high profile in the build up to World Cup. no guarantee of it if he leaves and it doesnt work out. The banks maybe happy at moment knowing we can cash in when suits us, and as has been said his value only rising. At moment I think there is virtually no chance of him going in January. The media will continue trying to sell him asap but they have been wrong ten times more than right. Lets enjoy his time here and stop doing the Manchester paper's jobs for them

If this site is to be believed, the smart punter will drag his wallet to Ladbrokes. He may be accompanied by a less-smart punter in a red shirt.

brett said:cheers. sorry for the misinfo..friend said 3 to 1. odds in shops tend to be shorter though. 13 to 2 is bargain if you can get it. Couple of Arsenal fans on radio saying they had no chance of top four.

CharlieCroker said:TBF, I thought the odds on that site were out of date, given that they are offering such low odds on Arsenal and Tottenham. This talk of betting brings me neatly to the Fellaini speculation (more old "news" is being rehashed in the Daily Mail today). I wonder what Kenwright and Co. are making of it? Do they decide to spend a bit in January and increase the probability of a top four spot (and therefore, the chance of keeping Fellaini and Moyes), or just sit back, in the knowledge that Fellaini's departure would generate enough funds to maintain EFC's "not quite top four" status for another few years?
