    Because i don't like Obama doesn't make me a republican,i vote for who i think will do the best job,he hasn't done anything in his first term and i can't see him doing anything different his next term.Of the three candidates (State senator,US Senator and President) i actually voted for one Republican and two Democrats,got one out of three.
    I am indeed a naturalized American,been here for 35yrs,retired and having a blast.Going to New Zealand for a holiday in Feb,was going to go to Aussie but the people there seem to be a bunch ofAssholes so i'm not going to bother.

    In fairness, you love to tell the world your president is the most powerful man in the world. But the reality is your _shit political system means he really has _fuck all power at all due to him being intentionally _fucked around by dicks in the lower house whose main goal is to do everything they can to obstruct him from achieving anything just so they can use that same lack of achievement as a stick to beat him and other Democrats with on their next election campaign!

    going towards universal health care, women having pro choice, states starting to legalize marijuana use. Becoming very liberal which seems to be the consensus of europe, and canada.

    Obama has done so little that he has been voted back in again. Which means one of two things:

    1. He's doing OK & people like him or
    2. Americans are idiots

    Your comment sounded like you thought it was a negative thing that the USA were becoming more European but surely you don't think that Universal health care is a bad thing or women having the right to decide ?

    I never said I viewed it as a negative. However in my part of the country people are downright irate. I fall in the middle. I voted for a guy who got just a hair over 1% of the vote. :-)) I hate that there is only 2 realistic options and they are almost always so far apart from each other that people don't get a middle man. Oh well.
