They didn't and the actual event date has passed, and was earlier in the year so the world has already ended..
Terrible it was but those of us who survived will never forget.. something whatever it was.. terrible things and the likes, you know, you made it too.. the horror.. THE HORROR!!!
Still, we're 4th so I'm over it.
ps Npt a believer, mainly because of the fact that once more the end of the world has been and gone according to the Mayans :)
