was expecting a couplle of defensive midfielders so was bit surprised by Oviedo buy initially..maybe slight blessing Gibson been out for few weeks so its emphasised how much we need cover for him

This is a brilliant idea. Guess who it originated from? Neville. That guy who's a right back but got played in CM and got used to it.

Bad, bad, bad idea. Keep wingers on the wings.

Can't write, needa go to bed.

Basically we tried it with Neville and it's turned out horribly wrong so let's not ruin a young prospect by doing the same. Keep him on the wing, don't move him centre.

maybe...Ratcliffe too..about to be sold as a left back and moved inside looked a world beater. anyway, I prefer the Pienaar inside idea now

so who tells Moyes., i am not convinced his fixation with Neville is about to end soon. Don't think its fair on Neville any more..has been a good buy for us but the memory getting tainted now..sometimes loyalty is unfair on the player himself

phasing out players past their sell by date is hard... maybe a suspension could pave the way?

worried Moyes may stick with him just to prove he isn't being punished for the dive. seems to be a fault with a few managers to try to prove they know more than the average fan...also not fair on Osman at the moment who is ending up having to do things he was never good at because Neville goes missing

I doubt it, but Moyes would probably be trying the players in various positions.

I can understand peoples frustration with Neville playing every week, but what other options do we have.
At the end of the day Moyes knows better than anyone about the team, we can come up with suggestions until the cows come home but we are short in that area and we need to utilise the next window to get a CM, which I'm sure is on Moyes's mind.

Anyway Neville said himself he's only playing for another two years, that's not too bad in the general scale of things, and will give us a chance to get a proper CM which we've missed since Arteta or even when Carsley left.

Howdy, Stranger!
