    Gerrard Says!

    yet the stats say Everton completed 100 more passes than Liverpool and delivered twice as many crosses, and had 59% possession!


    "Every time they get the ball at their goalkeeper, it comes in long".

    Yet the stats say Howard recorded a 59% pass completion rate, while Jones was just 38% – and Howard actually made more open play passes than Jones). They also say Liverpool hit 26 long balls!

    Gerrard also said "but you don’t expect your captain to dive like that.”

    I think someone needs to remind Gerrard that he is also Liverpool's captain and show him this....

    dont remember the bolton one....remember wharnock going ballistic on th esideline and after the game calling gerrard for everything..

    stoke are one place below lfc and they also drew with them.

    so it looks like they can't beat stoke or us.

    They were trying to reduce us to playing like Stoke by intentionally hurting Mirallas so he had to come off and trying to hurt Distin so their "small team" could get in on goal.

    Looking at those two clips both bookings and if they were commited by us would have been a sending off but they were robbed.

    Hmm More possession, more shots on and off target, better pass completion? When did stoke become so good because If we play like that every week with Pienaar and Gibson back then we will do just fine.

    read the full quote and started to think it was some clever reverse psychology dig at his own manager who clearly thinks passing the ball sideaways to no effect is the way to play football, especially as gerrard can claim his more direct appraoch of lumping it into the box from illegally won setpieces was much more effective . but then i remembered he is too stupid for that.

    Liverpool, Gerrard and Suarez are a complete embarrassment at the moment. For Gerrard to say what he has done and the stats to show he is completely wrong makes his look like a massive c**t.
