All had a good day at the office, the rest were poor.

Distin too. I really don't understand why people don't see this. Jagielka: okay, I'll accept that he let it slip for the second goal, but he made important blocks. Distin barely put a foot wrong and stopped any ball in the air.

He was to slow, his passing wasn't good, all he did was score the goal(before you say I know that's the point of the game) but I still maintain he was s**t.

Sharpey did that also but he got took off.

He didn't realise coateshanger was humpin' jags neck bone at the time so was trying to pasify the biased irish t-it. (I'm part Irish, before you all start)

Naisy had his best game for us.IMO

Howard - didn't have much to do. still won't come to collect the ball

Coleman - Strong, well determined and focused. Excellent game

Jagielka - played pretty well. some good blocks and let them knew he was there

Distin - Bag of nerves, judgements off key and didn't look as though he'd shook the terror from the semi

Baines - typical performance great play but thought Gueye dragged him down in the second half

Mirallas - amazing, brought the fight to the lads after going 2 nil down was unfortunate to take a nock and end his day

Fellaini - Powerful, just went through their players as if they werent there

Osman - distribution was tasty and was pretty much everywhere. good goal to get us back into it

Naismith - very mediocre game some poor passes and touches but had so much fight in him to win the ball back and got the goal we needed from a perfect run

Neville - played quite well, didn't really do much but much better than the past couple of games

Jelavic - absolutely terrible game didn't do much and didn't really affect them game

Gueye - Terrible not goin to be a good player unless he gets a loan and gets some experience

Oviedo done more in 5 mins than Gueye did. His pace is going to be really affective once he makes a name for himself here

Distin has been great for us but I think his best days are behind him. I would like to see Duffy introduced gradually to evaluate him as a partner for jags. We are starting to look as if our inferiority complex when we play these is fading. We now need to push on against the average sides.

Thought he did well considering he's likely not had much training going into this game. Set up the second as well.

thought coleman was at fault for the first goal....and have no confidence in him as a right back....

thought Fellaini did ok, but (in fairness) was marked superbly....

thought Mirallas showed he's gonna be a top player for us....we really missed him 2nd half, suarez foul on him was a massive game changer...no booking for it either.....

    Baines didn't get forward enough.....

Jags & distin both struggled to get close to suarez....

osman did pretty well considering he was living with a yellow card for most of the game...

neville was shlt as per usual.....at one point he misplaced a simple pass to coleman, who was standing 10 yards form him.....

Jelavic was as quiet as i've seen him......

    we missed pienaar....

he missed two very good chances. One of which on his head and the 2nd when Coleman skinner Agger and Skrtel tried to rape_Jelavic as Coleman squared it.

Go to say, Oviedo looked much better than **** Gueye did. Gueye is another one that looks off the pace of the game. The last few times I've seen him play he's not looked good enough.

Oveido made a cracking cross or two, but nobody interested in getting on the end of them.

If we're stuck without Pienaar, I'd be tempted to give him a run down the left with Baines, and play Mirallas on the right hand side. Not sure if Naismith's cutting the grade at the moment.
