Imagine if it had been us who had been 2-0 up. We'd never hear the end of the "we bottled it" _shite from the likes of Allseeingeye and others for the rest of the season.

    So did Liverpool bottle it?

I can't believe we managed to be two down as I thought we started ok.

So I'll go with us showing great character to fight back rather than them bottling it!

no they should have won it.

we dominated the game but poor defensive mistakes gifted them both goals.

we look poor defensively from set plays s

You're missing the point. On purpose I suspect.

As for the late "winner". It wasn't offside. But I also couldn't figure out whal Gerrard's free kick was for in the first place. So to me it was justice for the 11.

We're conceding early goals too often. Its all well and good that we're capable of coming back but I'd rather not be in that situation in the first place.

On the last "goal" it obviously wasn't offside but Coates heading back across goal pretty much pushed right down onto Jagielka to head that to prevent him jumping for it. Right decision for the wrong reason.

i honestly believe liverpool are poor but we gifted them 2 goals

we should have beaten them easily but not when we give them a 2 goal head start

Mirallas going off was a problem for us as Gueye hasn't the pace or skill for this league.

Oviedo should have come on for Mirallas in my opinion

Agreed. Oveido has a good cross in him. Gueye is not a pl player. And if he scores next week, he still won't be!

In hindsight I agree that Oviedo probably would've made a better choice than Gueye but he probably thought of Gueye as the more reliable option having played more for us.

You can play him as much as you like but he will never be a pl player imo

Magaye has had one good game for us and has looked really poor in the rest of the games he's played, tbf Naismith was s**t and we missed pienaar.

    How retarded.
A 2-0 lead is a two goal lead whether the two goals are 40 yard dipping swerving volleys or whether they deflect of 4 _arses on the way in

i thought we played with too much fear of liverpool for the first 20 minutes,
    was wembley all over again......
i don't get it, we never show fear against man utd, chelsea, spurs at Goodison.......
but liverpool we have a definite inferiority complex....
at 2-0 down, suddenly we're the underdog again, we relax and start plssing on them....

we gave away two soft goals, defence went awol, and not for the first time this season.

we are three decent players short of being a real threat to the top four.

I called it before the game that RS would go up early and we would have to claw back to a draw. This is now 3 games in a row, maybe more, where we are conceding an early goal. It's becoming a disturbing trend.
