    my mate said you can't appeal two yellows...haven't checked but it sounds likely

    this is also why he will miss the next match, because it's only when you can appeal a sending off that they delay when your ban starts from, am i right?

    however the ref can look at it and recind it if he wishes...

    yeah they must give a period for team to decide to appeal.

    not for 2 yellows/red...just instant 1 match ban unless the ref recinds it...

    If that ref sees it on the telly, he must surely do the sporting thing and rescind the second yellow card. Otherwise, he is a s**t. Maybe if Pienaar had kicked up more of a fuss, rather than taking the sending-off in good humour, the ref would have had more cause to question his decision.

    i personally think it was more a case of the ref thought he was "consistently" fouling..

    there was the first yellow..then an iffy tap/foul..then he jumped into a player and got neville to speak to him..so when this "didn't" happen he just thought.."that's it i've had enuff and the crowd are moaning..."
