    Whilst I agree they should take a stance on cole. I would argue against your baines is the best left back in the country point.

    I've seen Cole mark Ronaldo , figo , Ribery , Robben etc out of a game.


    Baines couldn't mark a bloke called mark with a marker.

    He hasn't got half the pace he used to have and is lazy with marking. Doesn't follow the one second rule at all if you watch him closely. He's beaten easily with a quick change of direction.

    If you're not going to say Baines might deserve the title, then surely Marcelo does. He can be Real's best defender often.
