anyone remember it or know if it still exists. cant find it any more. used to be good read..and as we are minus four points on outrageously bad decisions would be nice to see what the table should look like

think its definitely gone, they pretty strict on what was changed but remember we got into top four one year.. might have been year when Johnson was denied about 15 pens. can see something similar this year way its going

And the site assumed we'd have missed none of the penalty's and also assumed to know what the final result would've been had we scored them or had wrongly disallowed goals allowed or wrong allowed goals at the other end disallowed or whatever.

    That's a bit retarded like!

only problem with it was that they couldn't show how a goal may change the shape of play anyway, but think they did take into account that penalties could be missed, but not that many are missed so safer to assume they are scored if you are looking for a general picture of any bias. if you look at game on saturday though if wigan hadn't scored after ten mins then you could argue that not only is the face value score wrong but I think we may have settled sooner and possibly won comfortably. who knows. point of the site was to point out a very general picture, and although with most teams things did even out it made the more obvious times when they clearly hadn't. And it was fun to read

This service should be provided by the FA, so that they can be more accountable. I wonder why it isn't? It would provide good evidence for the introduction of video assistance for referees. Conspiracy theorists would say that the FA are influenced by the Sky-funded teams.

was just chatting about technology yesterday. if you look at most controversial decisions then whether ball over line isnt exactly massive. thats only one that would be dealt with as far as can see. assume they will have some kind of indication a ball has passed the line rather than relying on appeals or the refs judgement whether to use it or would cause just as much controversy. cant see massive need for it as poor offside decisions or penalty decisions effect a game a lot more.

would be interesting to see them introduce appeals thing like in Tennis. you can appeal maybe two decisions which you lose if your appeal completely wrong. maybe unworkable but would be fun to see how it effected games especially involving the rich list

All it needs is a retired ref or two watching the telly in a room, connected to the ref with a radio. The vast majority of bad decisions would be rectified without interrupting the game. Diving, shirt-pulling, deliberate fouls of all types- these would be all but eliminated.

they would have to be like The Untouchables. Only delay maybe captain discussing with manager or key players whether to appeal. goes on in cricket and tennis and seems to work.
