    No' at all....bu' there are certain games..at crucial times..which determine a teams strengths..this was one..

    There are also games which determine the quality of officiating. This was one.

    theres no such thing as the bigger picture yet ... i could understand that if with 38 games played we were fifth and a point or two out of the CL but the fact is if we look back after 38 in fourth with a point on the fifth place team we will say well done for fighting back and never giving up on a point

    we didnt play badly... decisions didnt help... point away from home at a ground we dont enjoy much success... we'll survive...

    Moyes was right yesterday when he said Wigan are a better team than most people give them credit for. They are. They proved in the last 2 or 3 months of last season what they're capable of. Most of their games this season have been very close.

    YES. if we can bolster the defence in january.

    put simply we need to get rid of the under-performers to raise cash and try and sign at least one decent defender. distin wont be around next season so unless we've got someone coming thru the academy we've gotta sell to buy in the january window to keep our momentum going.

    I think Heitinga was in because he had such a good game last week. but he found it hard to cope with the speed of Kone. He's not the only defender that will have that problem.

    Distin did a better job on him. But Distin is in his last season. He's been great for us but we need another defender in the same mould, big, strong, intelligent and as fast as Distin used to be.

    Poor committmen'
    No' enough mental strength in a game where this was essential
    A midfield/defence which is carryin' 2 maybe 3 passengers. It's no' possible to carry on like this in this league..

    It's opinion mate..if I'm wrong,which I 'ope I am..I'll 'old me 'and up.

    I agree with what you say. we were not good enough against wigan or west brom. and the defence was an embarrassment at times against s'oton. when newcastle bought on demba ba, the defence went awol.  i couldnt believe what i was watching.

    like most clubs we need to sell to buy and i think we urgently need a really good defender. we should get rid of the 2nd raters we have for a few million and try and get a strong defender in january.

    anichebe, coleman are not good enough and may raise 3 to 4 mill. i dont htink that vellios is gonna make the grade either.

    strengthen the defence and i think we will still have a chance to make a cracking finish to the season.
