Heitinga really hasn't impressed me since the final game of last season.

    moyes should have put heitinga on as soon as demba ba came on in the newcastle game.

    johnyH hasnt played much this season but he is the best at dealing with the likes of ba.

    our defence has looked shaky and wins against sides like swansea and southampton can't disguise the fact that we need to strengthen our defences.

    just watched the southampton match it wasnt on live here, (wigan is).

    johny H was excellent. distin will be lucky to get back in.

    i think he has lost interest and i expect him to go in january.....he is playing like he has been ear marked to be shipped out

    I think it's all down to the euro's. He was poor throughout the Euros and his confidence has been shot because of it.

    he can't have had any complaints about getting subbed at halftime today he was having a nightmare he can defend and put his foot in and scrap most of the time but against players running at him he is clueless wigans 2nd goal today was horrible defending i hope he thanked moyes for taking him off

    We are missing Gibson. True. But heitinga has not looked the same since euros. He doesn't seem to have the same attitude. I think distin is a better choice. Can neville play center defender?

    I think Heitinga was in because he had such a good game last week. but he found it hard to cope with the speed of Kone. He's not the only defender that will have that problem.

    Distin did a better job on him. But Distin is in his last season. He's been great for us but we need another defender in the same mould, big, strong, intelligent and as fast as Distin used to be.

    I think we should be looking for him in the January transfer window to keep this seasons momentum going.
