His header against Manchester United in the 4-4 draw was the best one I've ever seen; probably the best one I'll ever see. He's a brilliant finisher with his head.

Really glad he got a chance to do that magic today he has been under a lot of pressure with our expectations of him and now he can relax abit now he's getting the goals in.

I don't think he was under pressure at all :). He just needs a good pass, and his perfect instincts will do the rest, as seen today! The thing was at starters they all wanted a piece of pie ( to score ), i mean everybody, and that is commendable, but in the process there was some more solo actions that failed when they could have been goals, but at the end of the day they are an awesome "team" doing what they do best from the end of last season, and that is a "team play". Nikica is just doing what he does best what he was brought for, and that is always asking for ball, always pushing forward, and scoring when ever he can.

There's nothing better than having a natural goal scorer at the club. No matter what, if Jelavic gets survice he will score, no doubts about it. I actually don't think he has got the credit for his first goal yesterday, because when he gets the ball I don't think anyone expects him to score from that angle.

At the moment we have a brilliant all round team, but without Jelavic we would not be the same.

I thought his second goal was pretty poor from both Jelavic and their keeper. It was pretty much directed directly at the keeper but yet still goes in.

Don't get me wrong i'm not basing all his goalscoring abilities on that one shot i'm just making an observation

Jelavic is a class act! Pure quality. Will get us 20 goals this season. It's what we have been missing for years.

Their goalkeeper may have done him a favour though, i think he forgot were he was playing for the first one, the surprise on his face that the balls in the net is hilarious. bit harsh but he got lost under the ball for the second, mind you Howard got caught out for their goal as well but i'm not moaning as he did save very well from Lambert so i'll let him off this week!

did you notice who our two closest outfield players to their scorer were? baines and osman... on a set piece we had two of our smallest players on a cf...

Baines steps off the post i think but no-one was picking him up and our lads seemed to get blocked off trying to get back to him. I am not going to moan too much though as it was a good ball in and a good header which sometimes you have to hold your hands up and say, which is easier when you have won of course!
