'we would want to see that he could sustain training'

I'd love to have tried our training sessions when I was prime. Very torturous but ultimately very satisfying I think.

doesnt he play left midfield? arent we covered in that area?  im not sure if he is a very versatile player and find this somewhat strange .

Those were my thoughts also. I'm not sure he'd be decent at DM so I'm not sure what problem exactly he would solve!

Africa Cup with Pienaar going to be away, long cup runs & europa games at best! Or he could turn out to be a what was his name that Australian fella playing for us a short period few seasons ago, Neill?? Keep him a bit and sell him. Anyways, good to him in the training ground.

Wonder does Francisco Junior figure in Moyes’ first team plans this season…doesn’t look so…

if we kept him for a year and sold him for around a million at best we would just about cover the wages we would have spent on him so it wont be from a money point of view, maybe they just see him as a bit of a cheeky bonus, he is surely better than Junior will be at the moment, therefore better to have in the squad than not at all. It might even be that Moyes is looking to get Junior out on loan to see what he can do

I don't remember much of a clamour for Gibson to sign and now everyone is banging on about him coming back to shore up the defence to stop conceding chances. Likewise Jagielka, Baines etc. Think I am gonna give it a bit of IMWT on this one.

Hitzlsperger is a CM... he's not a particularly skillful player but he can put his foot in... has a good range of passing...  and an exocet of a left foot...

If he can prove himself capable in training and can come in on a pretty cheap deal then why not?

Can't hurt to bring him in especially with Fellaini, osman and gibbo being the first choice players he will only get a game when push comes to shove through injuries and suspensions.

Probably a better choice than Neville and Heitinga No offense to Heits but he's not the greatest of midfielders.

With Oviedo capable of being able to play that posistion why not.

Moyes has extended his trial period. looks as if he can prove his fitness there will be a contract for him. Not a bad addition but i would have liked Hargreaves to sign before him
