    I don't know if anyone else has noticed, but Ossie seems to be playing a sort of Pirlo/Scholes role in the side. Dropping off deep to pick the ball up from the defence and threading the play from there with short pass and move play. I think he has been an integral part of how we've played so far and none of the pundits seem to be picking up on him, and i feel he is one of the most inform midfielders in the prem at the minute and not getting the praise he deserves.

    Im a big Ossie fan, his only weakness being, he puts so much effort in his game he struggles with his legs in the last 15 to 20 minutes...

    As I said in Felli thread, flexible system . DM (Neville) is the cornrestaone of allowing other players to move around to create havoc up front. Ossie is proving he can play anywhere midfield. Started as a winger, then moved forward cetre, now more DM with flex to move forward when required

    He's taking over that Gibson role and how he plays. At least its not Neville that would just end in disaster because his passing is just dreadful especially when making passes that lead towards an attacking option.

    It's no wonder all our attacks come from the left when both Nev and Hibbo prefer to pass backwards.

    Would love if Coleman took Hibbo's dfensive ability and added into his game, would definately make him first choice at first back if that were the case.

    osman give the ball away for newcastles 1st goal on monday nite. everyone makes a mistake now and again but if he done that wearing an england shirt he would never hear the end of it

    Osman is a good player, good control and passing. My worry with him is the lack of pace but he is playing well so I'm not going to moan. Keep up the good work Ossie.

    Always got a costly mistake in him if I was improving the side I'd be lookin at replacing him, I've been saying for years now we won't win anything with him as a regular player, he's the sort of player I would like to se coming on last 20......

    I think he's very effective in a central role. He has all the ability in the world and he has made an excellent start to the season.

    PLAYED WELL 1ST HALF AGAINST NEWCASTLE BUT THEN HAD A BAD 2ND HALF ! DID OK YESTERDAY BUT WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT SHOT HE HAD ? MY GRANNY COULD OF KICKED IT HARDER THAN THAT
