As much as I'd love gettin £4 million for him, I'd still like to keep him. Couple of decent games so far, plus he got 4 from the bench last year, 3 of which salvaged at least a point.

Want to see more of Vellios this year but can't see there being room for him really.

There's a chance with Vellios, with Jelavic out, I think Vellios stands by to replace Vic in matches. And Vellios will most likely be used in cup games.

Well done Victor. Could have had a hat trick today. He was outstanding today.

I agree, Victor really impressed me today. Should've had a hattie.

I'm so happy for 'big vic' at the moment, people are saying on here he has been given chances in the past but I don't thnk he has.

In the past he was often used playing down the right and not in his natural central role, this was emphasised yesterday in his post match interview where he answered along the lines: "it's just nice to finally be in the positions now to give myself opportunities".

My memory tells me the only time he has been used as a striker was in Europe a few years ago in which his goal tally was impressive.

Moyes and Round now have trust in Anichebe to fullfil this strikers role and so should we as supporting fans.

I remember in 08/09, I think, that near Yakubu bicycle kick against was it Wigan? And as he missed it, Anichebe did the goal with a header.
Did they partner up front together that time around, or was Anichebe usually placed on the right?

Victor has bags of potential and if he stays fit and keeps working hard, I think he could be a very good player for us.

he lacks the consistency needed in an epl striker. but he's done a good job for us while jeli is out.

if he can take it up a notch thats great, but i have my doubts about that.
