Should have won it in the 1st half

We had enough chances in the first half to be at least 3 or 4 goals up. All they did was put another big guy up front and try harder. If Osman hadn't given away the ball and cost us the equalizer I say we would have won regardless of the baldy, fat, middleaged 12th man they has out on the wing.

As it was we had to score four goals to get a 2-2 draw.

We really need more midfield cover though. Neville and especially Osman just don't have the physical presence. As soon as they got stuck into them they couldn't cope with it. Real shame about Ofoe because we needed him tonight.

Oh Well the Swans on Saturday. If we play like we did today I think we have a good chance of beating them.

Move Fellaini back into a defensive role and put Heitinga in as a CDM and there's the strength back in the team. Osman is doing a good job in the centre as an attacking player so I wouldn't drop him. We wasted a lot of chances tonight though. Mirallas got too greedy on a couple occasions when a pass was a better option than a shot but Moyes will sort that out, Pienaar did the same thing in the first half when Osman was open.

Apart from all that, we were done by 2 dodgy decisions, losing the ball in midfield, and a keeping error. Having said that Howard did stop us going 2-1 down in the second half.

He'll learn ... but if he's trusts his ability enough to have a crack then he should go for it .... At one stage he was running around in circles waiting for Vic to get his **** in gear ... or anyone else for that matter.

It also puts pressure on defenders when they are aware that he likes to have a crack so they try to close him down quicker than they should ...... with him being good enough to go past them, he's gonna bag a good few this season......

I'd take this anyday over Ossie's back-passes to opposition keepers.
