Unfortunate for Newcastle.. we had that problem some seasons back and it was not good, now things look real great for us, let's keep that track throughout the season 12/13! ;-) COYB.

I watched the Everton TV highlights of this fixture last night, to whet my appetite. We absolutely stuffed them, and they had a CL place to play for!. More of the same, please, Mr. Moyes.

We did fairly OK against them at St. James' Park last season too. Lost 2-1 but it was a fairly even game. In fact I'd even go so far as to say we shaded it. But it just wasn't our day!

Exactly right mate, we should have beaten them there imo

Their sh!te man, couple of good strikers but you take them away and they have **** all in their team. We have been top 7 without a decent striker for about 5 seasons, i said it last year and i maintain it that these are a flash in the pan just like Sunderland were when they got sixth.

I only wish they didn't have these excuses already lined up before we do turn them over again plus Pardew is a bellend.

Agree. Would rather beat them without the excuses. And Pardew lost all my respect with his silly comment last season.

But victory was all the sweeter.

JUST READING THEIR FORUM AND THEY SAY THIS :-

To be honest if you took players of this level out of nearly all teams in league theyd be in trouble so although our squad is thin is it any thinner than others?
    Take our opposition monday Everton:-
Who is their 2nd choice keeper
Who is their 3rd choice RB
Who is their 4th choice CB
Who is their 3rd choice CM

WOULD OUR TEAM LOOK LIKE THIS ?

    __________MUCHA
    COLEMAN HETINGHA DUFFY BAINES
    NAISMITH OSMAN PIENARR ANICHEBE
    ___________MIRALLAS
    ____________JELLY

Cabaye, Ben Arfa, Tiote, Obertan are the players I rate. No underrestimation from me. And yet when I look at our last game and our squad at the moment, I'm confident. Let's enjoy the game, COYB. Show 'em where we belong.

Cabaye can't live with a decent midfield chases shadows, but is good on the ball. Tiote is a yellow card waiting to happen (also injured for monday) Ben Arfa well he has talent but he is cant'/won't defend and they have no right back, cue Baines and Pienaar!

Obertan i thought had promise but never delivered, he gets hauled off most games

am i the only one who doesnt rate Cisse???
I mean his goals last year were quality strikes, but thats it, the lad just put his foot through it on most occasions and it went in, his link up play is poor, movement is average at best, id take jelly on his own up front over both their Senegalese boys all day...

Big points available, not only to go 3rd but the toon will take points off teams around us and injury crisis or not it will be a tough game
