IMO 9/11 was a conspiracy and the American powers that be knew it was going to happen.....

    Again mate the u.s don't give 2 f*cks about U.N backing.

They maybe dont mate, but with out it, the war would have been deemed illegal and would have caused huge repercussions around the world........

Like I said to Beano, it's the message you send. Killing more people isn't going to cause more of an outrage, believe it or not. The event still killed loads and has left a lasting impression until this very day. People still make programmes about it.

Plus, it's not like hijacking a plane is a casual thing. You've got a small window of opportunity and if you miss it, it's game over.

    -----------------

and as I said back to you only you seemed to miss the point, the goal of Madrid and 7\7 was to cause as many deaths as possible. Undeniable.

You hat a small window of opportunity yes. So hijack 2 _feckin planes at 9:00 instead of 8:00!

    FDR knew fact ????

    Says who ? You ?

His actions may have increased the possibility of an attack and perhaps he should have upped defences but most credible historians agree that there is absolutely no evidence to suggest he knew of the attack.

    Stop making 5 h1t up

    Credible historians?  Like who?

BTW Did you watch the video?  Any opinions on that?

Can you actually think for yourself or do you live in a world of Unicorns and rainbows?  Where Muslims/Pakistanis/Africans, oh I forgot you call them Asians and youths, make Britain better.

Don't get me wrong, I really do from the bottom of my heart love you English bastards, but I think you've been sold a bill of goods just like in America.

Yes but they're attempting to use UN law in the U.S. to initiate gun control.

No mate, regardless of the death toll, it's the message that is sent. You really think killing an extra thousand people on top of the first thousand is going to change anything?

Much like in the Cold War, where the space race was an excuse to send a threat to the other side: We have a rocket and can put a nuke on it to hit you. Why didn't they just blow _shit up instead of going to all that trouble? It's the message that is important, not the casualties.

Check out Gordon W Pranges - At dawn we slept. . It's a very thorough account of the attack, including actions taken by the Japanese and the U.S. prior to the attack. Prange does spend some time addressing and debunking the conspiracy theories.

Can you provide a link to that?

Never let a crisis go to waste, and war is a racket.

It wouldn't have been an extra 1,000 people tho. It would have been a hell of alot more.

The goal of the 1993 WTC bombing was to kill somewhere close to 250,000 by toppling one tower into the other. Why would they be happy with less than 3,000 only 8 years later? Because yes, upwards of 200,000 would have been a much much bigger message than 9\11 was!

My opinion is as valid as anyone elses, you are right however I do disagree with you. This event is a bit to tragic for me to discuss with people on here, and it surprises me that you find it a subject to be debated here.

Thats unfair mate. There's no reason it's anymore a sensitive subject then any other to discuss

Why mate? The old US OF A needed justification for the wars in Aghan and Iraq so they allowed it to happen.

    Its that simple.

Tbf lad I don't want to discuss anything that involved thousands of people dying on a forum, be it 9/11 or whatever.

Sambo, come on, 15 of the 19 hijackers were from Saudi Arabia, so attacking Iraq makes perfect sense.

Yep, I believe it to be sambos freedom to discuss whatever he wants it doesn't stop me being surprised at the choice of topic though.btw I didn't mean to be overly critical if that was how the statement came across.
