    I had a feeling this deal wouldn't happen because of the amount of time it was taking for the deal to be confirmed. Its a shame because he seems like a good player but we still have a strong squad.

    Although I'm highly dissapointed that we didn't get him, I fell that Tonyd's views are a total disgrace.

    Moyes and the board have acted impeccably during this transfer window. Tony just seems like the type of scumbag that comes out of the closet when we aren't doing to well.

    He's the type of fan that makes me feel ashamed to support everton, Always wishing for our downfall.

    I AM PROUD TO SUPPORT EVERTON AND FEEL WE HAVE A FANTASTIC FLEXIBLE SQUAD TO PROGRESS IN THE FORCOMING SEASON. MOYES/KENIRIGHT HAVE SORTED THIS CLUB OUT FROM THE FU?CLKIG MESS THAT IT WAS IN THE 90'S.

    Who remembers the Dean Saunders fiasco? This is what happens when you try to get players so late. The summer window lasts two months yet I'll bet 90% of transfers happen on the last day. It's not just Everton either, they all do it. The RS with their Carroll **** up. Spurs trying to get Mourtinho.
    Remember how we got Fellaini in under the wire. Peanuts last minute signing last January. If clubs keep doing this then eventually you get caught out.

    I think it is more disappointing because lets be honest we all thought our tranfers had been done for this window but this deal came right of the proverbial blue. We thought Moysie had pulled off a real coup, Now he's been snatched away and it's really a shame since i'm sure he would have made us a lot stronger. Lets hope Gibson gets fit quicker than expected,

    Oh well. There's always January.

    EFC did everything that was required in a timely and efficient manner, it was his home club FC Brugge that screwed it up, get your facts right yer halfwits !

    aye mate but its still a little different as he isnt connected to a club, had we signed this lad in a similar way we would have got him signed up too.
