Can You Solve This Simple Mathematical Equation?

    Answer has to be 1 as you cant times anything by 0 as it would make that 0 like 10 x 0 is 0 as is 18888888888888888 x 0 is 0 so it has to be 2 divided by 2 is 1 so the answer is 1

    bedmas, bimdas, whatever you were taught to call it.
    =6-(1x0)+(2\2)
    =6-0+1
    =7

    if we are putting in random brackets why not have the answer as 5 then?
    (6-1) = 5
    x 0 + (2\2) =1
    so its 5 x 1 = 5

    There are not multiple answere.
    The answer is not 1 (I got caught out that way too)
    Not 5,6,0 or 3.5


    The rule of BODMAS means calculations are done in the following order

    Brackets
    Orders
    Division, Multiplication
    Addition, Subtraction

    which breaks down to:

    6-0+1


    =7


    Was just curious to see how many people were thick like me!

    Turns out, most of you are!
