Love to know of any posts for newbies regarding Everton legends, cheers, history, and all of the good stuff not found on wikipedia. :)  Already found one about Southall in reference to finding a young keeper to backup Howard (a US favorite of course).  Southall had amazing reflexes and instincts.

I've been saying that all my life, but I have a pre-teen daughter so I imagine my anxiety will rise in the coming years because of that.

    Hello escla!

I just went on a ranter today on my Facebook about the nitwits in politics these days. I've learnt to not get into it with my friends and I allowed myself that one deliciously arrogant post about how we need to destroy the current partisan system etc. etc.   I just shake my head at the stupidity that charades as politics now.  Sad bit is it's gotten so far away from what the principles the 'founding fathers' set forth, I'm sure they'd be glad to see it all go up in flames as well.  Believe me, I don't support much of what rhetoric gets spouted, especially in Federal government, but on the state and local levels, some good can actually be done.  Blowhards the lot of 'em.  (said the blowhard.. :) )

You seem to be quite well balanced, am sure you would agree that what the U.S. Needs is a bit of Thatcherism like !

As for Blue-Eyed Girl, we not yet met so we'll just see then.  I guess I don't yet have an opinion on elfin' lunatics, but imagine soon enough will.

For the particulars that most of you might care about:
Drink: Local craft breweries preferred - Mine would be Bell's and Greenbush (abt an hour away); Imports - Stella Artois, Hoegaarten, Boddington's, Newc Brown, open to others you may recommend; Large Breweries - Miller High Life.

Stronger drink: Bushmills 10 or 16; American Bourbons - Woodford Reserve, Basil Hayden; Vodka - Fuzzy's (by the American golfer Fuzzy Zoeller)

Blues: Howard, Neville, Fellaini, Hibbo, all of em basically.

US: Women's team is damned good, men's is aging and have little in the pipeline, I'm glad we got Klinsmann, but I also imagine he'll be gone after the next WC.

Howdy, Stranger!
