Posts: 30August 2012 Further breaking news here is that FC Copenhagen are resigned to losing left full back and midfielder, Bryan Oviedo (22) to Liverpool based Everton FC.
The Danish club is so convinced that it will lose Oviedo that it has recently bought Michael Jakobsen as a replacement. Jakobsen was preferred at left back to Oviedo in FC Copenhagen’s last gasp win away to Randers at the weekend, with the visitors injury time winning goal being set up by Oviedo’s delicious cross after he had replaced Jakobsen with 10 minutes to go.
Costa Rican born Oviedo feels that he has the quality to step up to the greater demands that English Premier League football will require. Everton Supremo David Moyes agrees with him so expect a successful bid of £1.8m (€2.8m) by the end of the week as cover for both Leighton Baines at left back and Steven Pienaar on the left side of midfield.
