i'd be 30-70 on Charlie Adam.....

i'd be 350% against Joe Cole....he's a has-been player on ridiculous wages, and Liverpool will be lucky to off-load him......

agreed, still think Moyes fancies Adam a bit but wouldnt be to bothered if we missed out on both. If you could say "missed out"

We don't need either of them, and I don't think either of them are good enough for us.

I am okay Sambro just **** off at the moment double tear in my rotar cuff so no more cricket for the season.

You all say no with them being Liverpool players but we need balance in the team.

A few years ago lots of people were wanting Cole but his wages and transfer fees were far out of our rasp. With Johnson prob not comming to us with spuds etc after him would it not be worth a punt? it does depend if he akes lower wages but i think he wpould and would love it here and work so well on our right that looks so weak. Osman is good out there but is better in the middle, Coleman is still to raw and best comming on late.

Adam i would say is the outside chance but still a yes as would give us options.

People talk about the liverpool / Everton divide like it is a huge gulf where we are proving we are a better and more consistant club. Players have moved between the club and been very good for us in the past. So stop thinking of the hatred and think of what we need to be able to improve and chalenge like monday night.

A LB, RM and CM is important to us and with those two cheap sove 66% of the problems.

Donovan will be here inJanuary so Johnson on a 6 month loan with option to buy could be a option.

Charlie Adam might be ok, but I'm not sure how he'd fit into the squad with the group of guys were are playing now...

    No on Cole.

We don't need Charlie Adam, and he's not good enough in my opinion.

Is that really that realistic tho, with Neville being our captain?
It might be nice to have Adam fill that spot. Neville is a decent player but has been lacking something as of late.

Cole is a NO a few years back yeah he was a good player but he's lost it now I would have loved him a Everton before he signed for the RS as he was a good player. As for Adams yeah he was good for Blackpool but any player with a little bit of skill playing for blackpool would get noticed he was a big player in a small pond for Blackpool for us he would be a small fish in a big pond wouldnt improve us at all just be another squad player yeah we are a bit thin on the ground for players but i would rather not waste £5 million on a squad player that wouldn't do much for us, save it for Donovan or look to the lower leagues and find another Cahill, Moyes is prob one of the best managers to be able to find gems in coal
