Plans to demolish a row of derelict houses next to Liverpool's Anfield stadium and build a new hotel appear to have made it easier for the Reds to expand their current home".

what BS is this.... please somebody buy one of these house, and tell the RS to do one... Sick the of the RS always seeming to get there own way in the city...

i got a question for people, whats now in the area where we were going to build a stadium??

Really? How much are they? I'm assuming people pay you to buy one, being next to Anfield and all...

think they were on a compulsory purchase order

however, I fail to see how building an hotel enables them to increase capacity at the ground

Why do they want to increase the capacity of Anfield anyway? Who wants to go and watch Liverpool play? :0&

Do you mean on the kings dock?

If so that'll be the Echo sponsored arena, placed there as our football ground would have created too much noise and traffic, hahahaha

Sorry, but Everton always lose out to liverpool where the city is concerned, its as if the city would either just brush us under the rug and be done with us.It pisses me off !

Why dont the BU go matching down to town hall and sit there until they give us some space to build a new ground.

ideally, if they could do like Buddhist monks do, and self immolate outside the town hall, that would really draw attention to the issues.  And they'd die.  Two birds...
